David Bowie passed away at the age of 69 on January 10, 2016. But his passing wasn’t the reason he came back on my radar recently. I was checking out (and thoroughly enjoying) his new album, Blackstar.
But I also went through his previous music to see what I’ve been listening to from his back catalog. Here’s one of my faves. It’s tough to make abstract lyrics emotional, but Bowie was a master at it. In fact, check out the lyrics here. It’s a masterclass in evoking emotions with word images.
